This is one of my husband's favorite dishes, so I decided to try out a recipe. Lasagna with ground turkey
We made this based on Ina Garten’s Turkey Lasagna recipe (here at http://www.foodnetwork.com/recipes/ina-garten/turkey-lasagna-recipe2.html), except that we substituted the minced turkey with 1 lb minced beef and 2 hot Italian pork sausage links (casings removed). (Dec. 2014)

Recipe is here: http://www.foodnetwork.com/recipes/giada-de-laurentiis/simple-bolognese-recipe2.html I often modify by doubling the amount of garlic, carrot, and celery, adding about 3 Tbsp tomato paste (for depth), and towards the end, I add 1 Tbsp of vinegar (red wine or balsamic) for brightness. Italian wedding soup
This recipe is based on http://www.foodnetwork.com/recipes/rachael-ray/mini-meatball-soup-recipe.html, with modifications. We did not make the grilled cheese sandwiches in the recipe, either. (Mar. 2015)

This is one of my childhood favorites, with its delicate flavor and contrasting textures. Sauté bite-sized pieces of 1/2 lb beef chuck (see Note below) in a little oil. Season… Continue reading Korean-Chinese fish cake soup over noodles (ool myun)
